The cost of car battery replacement in Dubai depends on five things: the battery's size and capacity in Ah, its technology (flooded, EFB or AGM), the brand, whether the car needs the new battery registered or coded, and how hard the battery is to reach. Why two cars get two different quotes
A car battery is not one product. A small hatchback takes a compact flooded battery that lifts out from under the bonnet in minutes. A large SUV with start-stop takes an AGM battery of more than twice the weight, mounted in the boot under trim panels, and the car expects to be told that a new battery has been fitted. The materials, the labour and the tools all differ.
That is why a fair quote starts with the car and not with a number. Send the make, model and year, or a photo of the label on the fitted battery. Size and capacity
A bigger case with a higher Ah rating holds more lead. A 100Ah battery for a large SUV costs more than a 45Ah one for a small hatchback.
Technology
Flooded and SMF sit at the lower level, EFB in the middle and AGM at the top, because of how each one is built.
Brand
Brands differ in where they are made, in plate design and in warranty term, so two batteries of one size can sit at different levels.
Registration and coding

Why does an AGM battery cost more than a normal battery?
An AGM battery uses glass fibre mats, more tightly packed plates and a sealed, valve-regulated case. That construction is what lets it survive start-stop restarts and brake energy recovery. It takes more material and tighter manufacturing than a flooded battery of the same size.
Is there a charge for delivery and installation?
