Do I need a police report for a small dent?
If the damage came from an accident, or an unknown party hit your parked car, yes. Workshops in the UAE are required to see a police report before repairing accident damage. For minor incidents in Dubai it can usually be obtained through the Dubai Police app. Wear such as faded paint needs no report.
Can every dent be fixed without repainting?
No. Paintless dent removal works when the paint is unbroken, the metal is not sharply creased and the back of the panel can be reached. Dents on a body line, on a panel edge, or with cracked paint need conventional repair and paint.
Will the repaired panel match the rest of the car?
That is the aim, and it depends on matching the colour to the car as it is now, not only to the paint code. Metallic and pearl colours are blended into the neighbouring panels so the eye cannot find the edge. The paint repair page explains how matching works.
How long does body and paint work take?
A single dent or bumper corner is a short job. Several panels or a full respray take longer, because filler, primer, colour and clear coat each need their own drying time. We give a time estimate once we have seen the photos or the car.
Can body damage fail the RTA passing test?
