Why the case says Rocket
Sebang is the company and Rocket is its brand. Sebang Global Battery is a long-established Korean manufacturer that supplies carmakers and exports replacement batteries to many countries, and the Rocket label is the one most UAE shops and drivers recognise. If a battery shop told you your car has a Rocket, it has a Sebang.
Where the brand earns its place on our van is the big sizes. Land Cruiser, Patrol, Hilux, L200 and D-Max engines need a large case with strong cranking, and some diesel versions carry two batteries. Are Sebang and Rocket the same battery?
Yes. Sebang Global Battery is the Korean manufacturer and Rocket is the brand name it prints on most of its car batteries. In the UAE people ask for either name and mean the same product. Tell us which size or which car, and we bring the matching one.
Is a Rocket battery good for a Land Cruiser or a Patrol?
Yes. Both use large JIS cases, commonly 80D26L or 105D31L depending on engine and year, and Sebang makes those sizes with the cranking power a big engine needs. We check the fitted battery or the registration card first, because the size differs between engines and generations.
My pickup has two batteries. Do I need to change both?
In most cases, yes. The two batteries work as a set, so a new one paired with a worn one is dragged down to the level of the old battery and ages quickly. We test each battery separately and tell you honestly if one of them is still healthy.
How long does a Sebang battery last in Dubai?
