Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 1 October 2026
These terms apply when you use this website or book a service with Arjan Battery, a mobile car battery service based in Arjan, Dubai. By asking us to send a technician or arrange garage work, you agree to them. Please read the warranty and cancellation sections before you book.
1.What the service covers
We provide mobile car battery services at your location: battery testing, jump start service, and car battery delivery and installation. The technician tests resting voltage, cranking performance and alternator charging output before recommending a new battery. If the battery is fine, we say so.
Garage services such as engine, gearbox, AC, tyre and paint work are arranged through partner workshops. Small jobs are done at your location. Bigger jobs go to a workshop, with pickup and drop-off from Arjan arranged for you. The partner workshop carries out that work, and any guarantee on it is stated on the quote or invoice for that job.
2.Quotes and charges
The cost of a battery depends on its size and type. We confirm the price on WhatsApp or on the call before the technician sets off, and that is the price on your invoice. There are no hidden charges. Delivery and fitting are free, and there is no call-out charge when you buy a battery.
A quote is based on the vehicle details you give us. If the battery fitted to the car turns out to be a different size or type from what was described, for example an AGM battery where a standard one was expected, we give you a revised price and wait for your agreement before doing any work. For a visit without a battery purchase, such as a jump start or a test only, the charge is confirmed with you before dispatch.
3.Arrival times
Arrival times are estimates, not guarantees. In Arjan and neighbouring communities the technician usually arrives in 20 to 35 minutes. For the rest of Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi we confirm the expected time on WhatsApp or on the call. Traffic, weather, road closures, security gates and basement access can all add time. We keep you updated if the technician is delayed.
4.Your responsibilities
A callout goes quickly when the technician can find and reach the car. If the technician cannot reach the vehicle or cannot contact you after arriving, we may have to move on to the next customer and rebook your visit. When you book, you agree to the following.
- Give an accurate location: a WhatsApp pin plus the building name, parking level and bay number where possible.
- Arrange access before we arrive: basement entry, visitor parking, a gate pass or security clearance in a gated community.
- Be at the car, or send someone who can unlock it and hand over the key, and stay reachable on your phone.
- Confirm that you own the vehicle or have the owner's permission to have work done on it. We may ask to see the registration card.
- Tell us about known faults, warning lights, aftermarket electrics or previous battery work before the technician starts.
5.Battery warranty
New batteries we fit carry a warranty of up to 24 months. The exact period depends on the battery brand and type and is written on your invoice. It runs from the date of fitting.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects: a battery that fails in normal use because of a fault in its materials or build, such as an internal short or a dead cell. It applies to the battery on the vehicle it was fitted to, and the invoice is your proof.
6.What the warranty does not cover
A discharged battery is not a defective battery. If the test shows it is healthy but flat, we tell you what drained it where we can identify the cause.
A battery can go flat or fail for reasons unrelated to how it was made. The warranty does not apply in these cases.
- Physical damage: a cracked case, broken or melted terminals, or damage from an accident.
- Deep discharge from headlights, an interior lamp or accessories left on, or from a car left parked unused for long periods.
- A fault in the vehicle: a failing alternator, a parasitic drain, or wiring and accessories that overcharge or drain the battery.
- Flood or water damage.
- Tampering: opening the battery, removing labels or date codes, or adding fluid or additives.
- Removal and refitting by someone else, or use in a different vehicle or for a purpose the battery was not made for.
7.How to make a warranty claim
Message us on WhatsApp with a photo of the invoice and a short description of the problem.
- We send a technician to test the battery and the charging system on site.
- If the battery fails the test because of a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, we replace it.
- If the battery passes, or the fault lies with the vehicle, we show you the readings and explain what needs attention.
8.Cancellations and returns
You can cancel at no charge at any time before the technician sets off. Once the technician is on the way, please tell us straight away on WhatsApp or by phone if your plans change, so the technician can be sent to another driver.
A battery that has been fitted is not returnable, because it cannot be sold as new once installed. The exception is a defective battery, which is handled under the warranty. If we supply a battery that does not match what was agreed, we replace it with the correct one.
9.Payment
Payment is due when the job is finished. We accept cash, card, Tabby and Tamara. Split payments through Tabby or Tamara depend on their own approval and are governed by their terms. If they decline a payment, another method is needed. We do not store card numbers. Ownership of the battery passes to you once the invoice is paid in full.
10.Old battery recycling
When we fit a new battery, we take the old one away for recycling. Car batteries contain lead and acid and must not go in general waste. If you would like to keep the old battery, tell us when you book.
11.Jump starts
A jump start gives a flat battery enough power to turn the engine over. It does not repair a battery that has reached the end of its life, and it does not fix a fault in the alternator, starter motor or wiring. The car may not restart later if the battery can no longer hold a charge.
Our technicians use the correct connection points and procedure for the vehicle. Even so, a car with pre-existing electrical faults, damaged wiring, non-standard accessories or a previous incorrect jump start can show warning lights or module faults after any jump start. We are not liable for faults that were already present in the vehicle. If the technician judges a jump start unsafe, for example with a swollen or leaking battery, the technician will decline and explain the alternatives.
12.Our liability
We carry out every job with reasonable care and skill, and we are responsible for damage directly caused by our technician's error. We are not responsible for faults that existed before the visit, faults unrelated to the work we did, or settings lost on vehicles that do not allow a memory saver.
To the extent UAE law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as missed appointments, lost earnings, taxi or car hire costs, or delays caused by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under UAE consumer protection law.
13.Website content
The battery guides, size tables and vehicle notes on this website are general information. Battery specifications vary by model year, trim and market, so a page here is not a substitute for checking the battery fitted to your car. Before setting off we confirm the fitted battery, the VIN or the registration card. We try to keep the content accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors.
14.Trademarks and independence
Battery brand names such as Amaron, Varta and Bosch, and car brand and model names, are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only to describe the batteries we supply and the vehicles they fit. Arjan Battery is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by any car manufacturer or its dealers.
15.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. If a dispute cannot be settled directly with us, the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction. Please contact us first. Most problems are resolved with a visit and a test.
16.Changes and contact
We may update these terms when our service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and the version in force when you book applies to that job.
For questions about these terms, a booking or a warranty claim, message us on WhatsApp or call the phone line shown on this website. We are open 24 hours, 7 days.
