What an oil change involves

Confirm the oil

Warm oil drains more completely. The undertray comes off, the plug comes out and the old oil is collected.

The filter is replaced with its new seals, and the housing or mounting face is wiped clean.

What an oil change will not fix
- An oil level that keeps dropping between services. That is a leak or an engine burning oil, and it needs diagnosis.
- A red oil pressure light while driving. Stop the engine and have the car recovered.
- Milky, light-brown sludge under the filler cap, which points to coolant getting into the oil.
- A fuel smell in the oil or a level that rises, usually from short trips or an injector fault.
- Knocking that began after the engine ran very low on oil. The wear has already happened.

How often should I change engine oil in Dubai?
Follow the severe conditions schedule in your handbook, since heat, dust and short trips all apply here. For many cars that means about every 10,000 km on fully synthetic oil and about every 5,000 km on mineral or semi-synthetic, or once a year if you drive less than that.
Which oil does my car take?
The grade and the specification are both in the owner's manual, and often on the oil filler cap. The grade alone, such as 5W-30, is not enough: European cars in particular need an oil carrying the maker's approval. Send the registration card and we confirm it before ordering.
Can you change the oil at my home in Arjan?
Often, yes. It depends on the car and on where it is parked. A villa driveway or an open bay usually works. Some tower managements do not permit oil work in the basement, and some cars need a lift to reach the filter. In those cases the car goes to the workshop with pickup and drop-off.
Does the oil filter need changing every time?
